This is a representative selection of a body of conceptual art work that spans nearly 30 years.

My creative process involves observing the relationships and connections between the external world and the inner world. To do this kind of work, I begin by wandering around, looking for the connections and relationships that present themselves to me. I use found objects, both man-made and natural, as symbols of ideas, in context with the locations in which they are found and events or happenings occurring around them.

The work breaks down into three categories; single images, diptychs and series of three or more.
The single images are site specific and usually involve assemblages of found objects that evoke a symbolic connection or reference to the human experience.

My Diptych pieces involve the process of what I call "a simple doing," where I transform the piece from "before to after," or from "this to that," or from "here to there." It's the deliberate interjection or transformation that is key to the piece.

The series involve an observation of a process that, again, gives reference to the "human experience," and is expressed over multiple images.
